We warmly invite you to join us at any time during the event—completely free—through our Newcomer Welcome Center. Bring a friend or family member and join together, or let your friend or family member know about this opportunity. We welcome everyone who may benefit from our program.

Do you care about someone struggling with compulsive eating, food addiction, body image issues, anorexia, bulimia, overeating, or other food-related challenges?
The only requirement for membership in Overeaters Anonymous is a desire to stop compulsive eating and compulsive food behaviors.
Thousands of OA members find recovery from food and body obsession, anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, compulsive overeating, and restricting.
Why OA?
Meetings Accessible Anytime
We offer meetings and support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in a variety of formats:
Nonjudgmental: We welcome people from all backgrounds and belief systems, providing a supportive environment for healing.
Many members in OA use resources, outside of the program, to support their recovery. Plans from doctors, nutritionists, weight loss centers, commercial diets, exercise plans, bariatric surgery, and therapists are some of the supportive measures members make use of. OA takes no position on outside issues, such as these, so all are welcome.
Resources for Families, Friends, and Communities
We invite you to:
Attend a Meeting: Experience the support firsthand and see how OAvirtual.org can help those you care about.
Display Materials: Help us spread the word about our meetings and events in your institution, organization places of worship, or local community.
Invite a Volunteer Speaker: Our members are available to share their experiences with your school, professional group, religious institution, or community organization.
